The Annual Summer Quiz, a staple in the calendar for years which raised around £2000 every year, had to be cancelled because of the pandemic. Refusing to be defeated, the Fund-Raising Committee organized two virtual quizzes and a virtual Bingo evening. All were well attended and raised more than £4000.

Fund-raising is vital, not only to increase funds but also to involve our existing community supporters and attract new ones. The Committee is developing a new programme to get all our supporters involved over the coming months. Events include:

Do it for HAB – a self-managed pledge to raise sponsorship of at least £50 by taking on a challenge. You can do it alone or with your friends. We have a target to involve 100 challengers with a HAB star pin badge for all who take part and an exciting prize for the most sponsorship raised. 

The Big Sleepout is planned for the Spring 2022 at the Edgware and Hendon Synagogue on 26 March.
