If you have asked me what I would like for my 50th Birthday I would love a contribution to a local charity which will make a difference to people who do not have the security of a home this winter and beyond. It is a charity that many local churches, mosques and synagogues have been involved with and many friends have volunteered with. As it is a small charity, every penny donated will make a difference to individuals living in my local community. Thank you!
I have set myself the challenge to run a half marathon to raise money for Homeless Action in Barnet. I am raising money for this charity as their work helps to ensure everyone has a safe space which they can call home. This is something I believe everyone deserves, no matter their story.
Support those in the local community that need assistance at this time of year.

I want to remember the homeless this Christmas and help make the holiday little easier for those in need.
HAB has done a lot of work for homeless people and that is exactly the type of charity we were looking for as we want to support homeless people during this tough time. This charity seemed like the perfect match with our goal, so we decided to start a small fundraiser.
Brian Salinger died in December 2023. He chose Homeless Action in Barnet as his charity during his mayoral year in 2017-18 and was incredibly proud of the amount raised during that year. We would like to honour his memory by asking everyone who knew him to donate what they can to a charity that was close to his heart.
