Welcome to our latest Newsletter. We have updates on some recent appeals and examples of the wonderful support people give to HAB. Coming up we have our King’s Coronation Treasure Hunt – a fun way to support HAB and find out a lot more about Barnet. I know that those of you who are able to will join in and also support us in our other fundraising activities.
We have survived the winter but the cost of living crisis continues to push more people to the edge of coping and beyond. The number of people contacting us and receiving various levels of support remains high – still around 700 individuals a year.
Support from our local community is an important part of enabling HAB to help people in need and as a charity we are keen to be open and democratic in following good governance. From the beginning of May we are launching a new membership drive. If you are interested in HAB and its work we hope you will consider applying for membership. Finally – thank you all for your support and I hope you enjoy the read!
